Resolve an accural table related error in a pay code formula

Request: A client asked "The current PTOMAX does not work if the employee is maxed out or has variable hours.  I was trying to incorporate the formula from PTO accrual and then multiply by 26 but it keeps giving me different errors".  Where PTO means Paid Time Off.

The error mentioned is shown in this screen print:

Cause:  The error was caused by the setup of Accrual Tables.  The table referenced, PTON, was associated with the @PTO pay code and the formula was attempting to reference it with the PTOMAX pay code.

Solution:  To resolve this error all that was needed was to add accrual tables with blank pay codes such that any pay code could reference them.  Following is a screen print showing the solution.

After adding the accrual tables, shown above, the formula was changed to derive the PTO accrual and them multiple it times 26 pay periods.  The following screen print shows the resulting formula:

The final step was to remove the accrual tables which were tied directly to the @PTO pay code.  These tables were no longer needed and there is no reason to maintain duplicate accrual tables.
